Reviews for Mo' Money
Only managing to come up with routine action, director Macdonald delivers few thrills, and the comedy doesn't last far beyond the first reel.
Some of the humor in Mo' Money has a mean-spirited edge. And only in isolated moments is it as funny as its own title.
One of Damon Wayan's better offerings. An entertaining combination of action and laughs.
Damon Wayans wrote Mo' Money as a star vehicle for himself and is credited as an executive producer. So, so it's safe to say he deserves the blame.
It's not that the all-too-familiar characters are not funny here (when they don't border on the offensive) but they only slow down the narrative.
