Rebecca (Lindsay Sloane), an assistant at the clinic, mistakenly believes that Steven is gay. To add a little spice to his novel, Steven decides to play along with this assumption, and adopts the role with a fervent zeal. Unfortunately his feelings for Rebecca blossom into a full-blown crush, but he can't admit his true feelings for her due to his homosexual guise. To make matters worse, Rebecca has similar feelings for Steven, but is similarly reluctant to come forward and make it known.
