High school student Frank Stein (Lawrence), a geeky genius, yearns for the most beautiful girl in school, Macy (Lakin), though his outsider status precludes him from having a shot at going out with her. However, when a number of popular jocks decide to harass Karl, the school's goth outcast, they accidentally cause his death. Sensing opportunity, Frank offers to bring Karl back to life with a brain from his father's lab. Frank is able to resurrect Karl, instantly promoting both he and Karl to popularity. Unfortunately, Frank has unwittingly replaced Karl's brain with that of a serial killer, putting a damper on his budding relationship with Macy. A wicked mix of horror and comedy, BOLTNECK is a witty and frightening take on the teen horror genre. [More]
