Reviews for Allegro Non Troppo
Generally humorous, quite colorful, and at least somewhat thought provoking.
Director Bozzetto's style is frantic in pace and occasionally violent, but his use of color and line is dazzling.
A reminder of a time not that long ago when movies seemed fresher, braver and just generally more exciting than they are now.
every bit is weird, experimental, and vaguely inappropriate as you would expect.
The animated pieces are uniformly terrific, some touching, most hilarious and more than a few expressing Bozzetto's trademark anti-war sentiments.
It's not only a hilarious send-up of Disney's excesses but a splendid cartoon feature in its own right -- funny and imaginative and lively.
