He's kept a relatively low profile since testing the boundaries of comedy with Borat last year, but all that's about to change -- Variety reports that Sacha Baron Cohen has chosen his next two starring roles.

First up is the long-discussed Bruno, which will find Cohen returning to his Ali G Show stable of characters for the third and final time -- this time, to play the titular flamboyant Austrian fashion reporter. Ali G fans will know what to expect: namely, more awkward and uncomfortable situations, mixed in with plenty of gay innuendo and the constant threat of physical violence. In other words, similar to Borat, only with German (and/or fake German) slang instead of references to Kazakhstan. Less sexytime, more schwanzenstuck and poopenschaft.

According to the Variety report, Cohen has also committed to a remake of Francis Veber's Le Diner de cons, about a group of prominent businessmen who compete to see who can bring the biggest idiot to their weekly dinner. The remake, titled Dinner for Schmucks, will be directed by Austin Powers director and Susanna Hoffs spouse Jay Roach.

Cohen has actually been attached to both of these projects for some time -- we reported on Schmucks last November -- but the latest Variety report references "months of vacillating and speculation," so there must have been some questions behind the scenes.

Cohen's next two projects will be a supporting role in Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd and a production credit on the bambino he's expecting with fiancee Isla Fisher.
