Based on the bestseller by Philip Margolin, this miniseries event stars Brooke Shields as a tough attorney who refuses to accept easy answers in the chilling case of a brutal serial killer. When an Oregon resident disappears without a trace, the only clues the police have to go on are the black rose and printed card that says "gone but not forgotten," a clue that mirrors a spate of murders that occurred in New York years before. The man who is accused of the murders appears unbalanced, but his lawyer, Betsy Tannenbaum (Brooke Shields, SUDDENLY SUSAN), believes he is innocent. The fast-paced plot follows a twisted path as the murders pile up, unfolding with heightened suspense that keeps audiences guessing until the end. The all-star cast includes Lou Diamond Phillips (LA BAMBA, YOUNG GUNS), Marilu Henner (TAXI), Joe Morton (STEALTH, PAYCHECK), Scott Glenn (TRAINING DAY, COURAGE UNDER FIRE), and William Atherton (THE LAST SAMURAI, DIE HARD).
