The virginal Matt (Chris O'Donnell) has his mind on his studies and his upcoming college career while the beautiful Casey (Drew Barrymore) is an extroverted free-spirit, despite the efforts of her very strict parents. It turns out, however, that opposites do attract, and the couple's intense desire for each other causes the normally level-headed Matt to embark spontaneously on a road trip to Mexico with Casey. But as their journey progresses, Matt begins to realize that the often outrageous, even dangerous behavior of his girlfriend is actually the manifestation of a mental illness--and that he wants her out of his life. • Mad Love
  • Chris O'Donnell (BATMAN FOREVER, THE BACHELOR) and the seductive Drew Barrymore (CHARLIE'S ANGELS, BOYS ON THE SIDE) fall hard in MAD LOVE -- the wild and sexy story of two passionate young people who take to the road for the incredible adventure of their lives! Straitlaced Matt (O'DONNELL) is immediately captivated by Casey (BARRYMORE), the beautiful and unpredictably rebellious new girl in town who refuses to play by the rules! But when they're faced with permanent separation, they decide to leave everything behind and run away together ... and run head-on into the kind of passion, fun, and excitement you won't soon forget!

Despite the old-fashioned ideology, at least Mad Love is good to look at.

Though well-acted by Chris O'Donnell and Drerw Barrymore, this is yet another version of amour fou and love on the run that makes little sense and fails to reach the heart.
